This is a Danelectro Shorthorn model 3412, double-cutaway, electric bass from 1959. It has a bronze finish with one pickup. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. CONDITION:
Very clean, 8.5 out of 10, 100% original (except rear strap button was replaced), finish has some pitting on front and wear/dings along with general wear. There's also some painting worn off on the back in the usual buckle-rash position. White tolex binding in good shape but somewhat dirty.
TUNERS:

NECK:
Bolt-on, straight, dot inlays on rosewood fretboard, 15 frets, and 29 3/4" scale. Frets are in good condition but do show very minor playing wear. Overall, they're in good working order and will play well for a long time. The back of the neck has playing wear.
PICKUPS:
1 Lipstick pickup
One volume control and one tone controls both in proper working order.
Toggle switch works fine to switch between pickup modes
