SILVERTONE Crest: Model 1348
1953

Silvertone Crest H537 made by Harmony in Chicago, one pickup, electric guitar, hollow body, tobaccoburst white striped binding, spruce top, maple sides and back, made in 1953 This is a rare Silvertone Crest model 1348, made by Harmony of Chicago circa 1953. The Harmony number is H537. It is a hollowbody, tobaccoburst, bound, archtop with a single coil pickup, raised, molded, tortoiseshell pickguard surrounding the pickup, matched spruce top with maple sides and back, brown deluxe knobs, a white plastic strap button, two f-holes, trapeze style fixed tailpeice, adjustable rosewood bridge and a beautiful headstock with a crested silvertone logo. This guitar is gorgeuous from its fancy heraldry-style headstock to its unique knobs. It is 100% original and still looks fine for a sixty-two year old instrument. This Silvertone is in good condition. The neck is straight, the action is fast and the pickup seems to be as clear and potent as it has ever been. It still looks lovely, feels fastastic and sounds superb. Don't miss your chance to get this classic!
